I will confess, all I have to do is type the word lice and I start to itch! I don't think I'd have made it back then, though who knows. And had I been there previously, like Claire, I would have tucked a big bottle of pediculicide solution into a pocket of my bat suit!
I suppose it was considered just part of life. Dogs get fleas, people get lice. Itchy times, indeed!
